A UCLA graduate and former football student athlete, Farr went on to become a successful sports agent, where he negotiated what was, at the time, the largest contract increase in NFL history, and established himself as a formidable force in the business of professional sports.
Recognizing the need for greater representation, access, and opportunity throughout the sports industry, Farr co-founded the Black Sports Agents Association with Rev. Jesse Jackson, creating a platform to advance Black professionals across sports management, representation, and business. He continues to serve as its Chairman and CEO. He later served as President and CEO of House of Blues Sports, further expanding his influence at the intersection of sports, entertainment, culture, and commerce.
Today, Farr is Chairman and CEO of the Executive Member Group, a private executive network designed to foster business, strategic partnerships, and meaningful collaboration among accomplished executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and influential leaders. Through the Juneteenth Exchange, he convenes entrepreneurs, executives, investors, innovators, and community leaders to advance Black leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, economic empowerment, and generational progress. He is also the Founder and CEO of Farr's Best, a nonprofit committed to empowering families, building communities, and creating pathways in leadership, education, health and wellness, and financial literacy.
